A Journey With Dr. Luke:
Are You Willing to be Made Able? (Luke 5)

In Luke 5, Jesus called His first disciples. These disciples followed Jesus because they were willing. They were willing to leave everything in order to follow Him.

The first step in following Jesus is to be willing, which always involves leaving something behind. Jesus may ask us to leave our career, our home, our country and follow Him. We also must be willing to leave our destructive choices, anger, bitterness, hatred, and more.

Then as we follow Him, He will transform us into able disciples. Jesus will make us:

*able to forgive

*able to be healed

*able to repent

*able to surrender

*able to follow

*able to love

*able to share the gospel

*able to ________________

But we will never be able disciples until we are willing disciples.

Come and join us Sunday as we dig deeper in God’s Word to learn how to follow Jesus as His willing disciples.
