Re-Opening The Church Guide Lines
New Hope Ministries is dedicated to providing a safe environment for all who enter the facilities. In accordance with the recommendations of the Governor and Ohio Department of Health, we have implemented social distancing and are requesting all persons who are able to:
stay home if you are sick
wear face masks while entering and exiting the facilities.
wash or sanitize your hands when entering
abide by the recommended six-feet of separation.
If you are in the high-risk categories designated by the Ohio Department of Health, we request that you continue utilizing the digital services with Grace Point or request a copy of service until New Hope Ministries is able to stream online.

As the publisher of LIGHT + LIFE MAGAZINE, I decided at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic to immediately shift to digital delivery for our denominational magazine. There are two primary things I would like to share with you about our commitment to you, the church, at this unique time in history.
WE ARE ABOUT DISCIPLESHIP
Although there are many stories to tell directly related to the pandemic, we're keeping LIGHT + LIFE MAGAZINE centered on our monthly themes, and the rich discipleship opportunities they offer. We hope you'll take them in; spiritually ingest them with others. Use this material as a basis for your small group discussions or online meetings. Discover Unstoppable Grace for the month of April.
WE ARE ABOUT SCATTERING
Share LIGHT + LIFE with others. Send the links to all your family and friends and invite them to discuss the articles. Which circles of influence can you influence with the message of God's grace? When we planned our themes for 2020, we had no idea that a message about the far-reaching grace of God would come during a pandemic. Scatter this word as far as you can.

Love God, Love People, & Be Disciples
Dear Friends,
I wanted to write and give you an update on some of the things that are still occurring with the Church even with the building closed. We know that we are to continue to be the “Church” at all times, even during a Pandemic that currently prevents us from meeting physically, we are always together in Spirit.
To those who have continued to mail your offerings, Thank You, your diligence has made it possible to continue to pay the expenses that occur even when we are not meeting.
Please find enclosed a letter from Chaltu Barasa (the girl) that we support through the ICCM program with the National Free Methodist Church. Also, please add her and her family and friends to your prayer list during these difficult times. We also have an update from the International Childcare Ministries via their newsletter from earlier this year.
You will also find enclosed a Letter from Soul Food Ministries that is supported through monthly designated giving for the North School food program, as well as a Monthly tithe on the churches Donations Income that supports a Pastor and his family with food so they are able to concentrate on Ministry.
We have not however been able to collect the funds on the “Soul Food Dollar Sunday” program that we normally do on the first Sunday of each month. I would encourage you if you are able to mail or drop off a check in a sealed envelope in the locked Church mailbox on the front of the building to the left of the entrance doors, or set aside some funds for when we are finally able to meet.
I know that we are all facing issues with possibly reduced Income and possible loss of work due to this Pandemic. However, the funds collected on the first Sunday of the month are used to feed the children at the Southern School lunch so they receive at least one meal a day. Please let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers, especially since they do not have the benefits that we are able to access even during times of difficulty.

It’s time to Suit Up with all of God’s armor so that we will have the power to stand against the enemy’s lies and tricks. In Large Group, we’ll join a superhero named The Clock and his/her best friend, Sid, on a summer vacation to Epic World where they will learn how to use God’s armor to defeat the evil villain, Acro Phobia. In a small group, we’ll have fun as we learn how to use this armor in our everyday lives. “Put on all of God’s armor. Then you can remain strong Against the devil’s evil plans.” Ephesians 6:11

Journey meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Starting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Journey is for students from 7th grade to 12th grade.
